The day begins with the Veterans Day Parade, a beloved tradition in Apache Junction. The parade will commence at 9:30 a.m. along Apache Trail, starting from the Focal Point. Spectators can expect a thrilling start with a flyover, followed by an array of patriotic floats. This event offers a perfect opportunity for the community to come together and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Following the parade, the excitement continues at Flatiron Community Park, located at 100 North Apache Trail. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Festival of the Superstitions, presented by the Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place against the stunning backdrop of the Superstition Mountains. The festival promises a variety of activities suitable for all ages, making it an ideal family outing.

At 11 a.m., the community will pause for a special veterans' tribute, an essential part of the day's events. This moment is set to honor those who have given so much in service to the nation.

The festival includes a cornhole tournament, live music bands, and an impressive car show, offering something for everyone. Food lovers will delight in the array of amazing food vendors, ensuring that attendees can savor delicious treats while enjoying the day's festivities.

Animal lovers will be pleased to know that dogs are welcome at the event, although they must be kept on a leash. For younger attendees, the festival offers pony rides and a pie-eating contest, promising loads of fun for children.

Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the perennial car show, featuring a range of amazing vehicles, including bikes. Participants can look forward to awards for top vehicles, with the proceeds from the show benefiting the Chamber of Commerce scholarship program.
